Hilti te22 manual

I then contacted the Ebay seller, who turned out to be Chinese and who had no experience or advice on the matter ( We managed to find a service manual, but it doesn't really give us any starting point for taking it apart. Dad and I can't figure out how to take the front chuck mechanism out of the 'bayonet' / rear chuck mechanism. So, we looked on the Internet and were able to order a replacement front chuck mechanism from Ebay which fits either the TE-17 or TE-22. This was a bit disappointing because they refused to even look at it, saying that they were just the front counter, and all modern tools were couriered to a special repair facility, so we were out of luck.

So, we took it to Hilti Sydney, who refused to work on it because it's too old. the past year, drill bits constantly kept getting stuck in the chuck mechanism, i think it is because the ball bearings in the 'SDS style' front chuck mechanism have worn. I've seen this thread ( ) which discusses the predecessor model, the TE-17, which contains some related information.īasically, my father owns a TE-22 (the successor to the classic TE-17) which is a hammer drill about 15-20 years old and built like a Tiger tank, which has been a really good reliable tool until recently. Wondering if anyone can advise with regard to changing a 'bayonet / chuck mechanism' on a Hilti TE-22 Rotary Hammer drill?
